BWC Board of Directors to Meet Friday at 8:00 a.m.
Will also hold public forum on medical provider issues Thursday at 9:30
COLUMBUS – The BWC Board of Directors will meet for its regularly scheduled, monthly meeting on Friday, April 25, 2008
from 8:00-11:30 a.m. in Room 3, Level 2 of the William Green Building, 30 W. Spring Street, Columbus.
Additionally, the Board will host a two-hour public forum on Thursday, April 24 from 9:30 –
11:30 a.m. to hear input from
the public and Ohio’s medical community to identify unnecessary barriers that keep quality medical providers from participating
in BWC’s program, that if removed would enhance the delivery of quality, cost-effective medical treatment. The forum is also
expected to identify strategies BWC could implement to enhance provider performance for delivery of quality, cost-effective
health care and return-to-work services. The forum will be held in the Auditorium of the William Green Building.
The Board’s four subcommittees will also meet Thursday. The Governance Committee will meet in the William Green Building,
Level 2, Room 3 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.; the Audit Committee will meet in Room 1 from 12:00-1:30 p.m.; the Actuary Committee
will meet in Room 3 from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.; and the Investment Committee will meet in Room 2 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
