Toni Brokaw was appointed chief of human resources in August 2007. She is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the strategic and programmatic needs of the bureau including the training and professional development of BWC’s 2,400 employees.

Toni has more than 15 years of human resources experience. In 2004, she joined BWC as the director of employee and labor relations. In the position, she represented BWC in contract negotiations and advised senior staff and supervisors on contract interpretation, employee relations, performance evaluations and disciplinary issues. She also has held progressively higher human resources positions at the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.

Toni earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Franklin University, Columbus.

She lives in Pickerington.
