Donald C. Berno joined BWC in August 2007. He serves as liaison from the senior leadership team to the BWC Board of Directors, which includes representatives from business, labor and the public.

Throughout his career, Don has focused on analyzing financial trends in the public sector. During his 12 years as President of the Ohio Public Expenditure Council, he served as a member of the Governor’s Economic Advisory Council for Governors Celeste, Voinovich and Taft. As a senior vice president at the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and as a consultant, he coordinated efforts of public and private sector leaders to bring needed state and federal dollars to projects to Central Ohio.

Don earned a master degree in business administration from the University of Dayton, a law degree from Ohio Northern University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

He lives in Westerville with his wife and four children.
