Dr. Rick Percy joined BWC as the Chief of Operational Policy, Analytics & Compliance in March 2012.

In this role he oversees a team of employees that analyzes data to help improve our processes, shape policy, and monitor the performance and compliance of managed care organizations.

Percy has nearly two decades of experience in the health and group life insurance industry. He worked 18 years – 10 of them in senior management – for Central Benefits Mutual Insurance Company (formerly Blue Cross of Central Ohio). He also has worked as an independent business consultant.

Percy holds master's degrees in statistics and economics from The Ohio State University, a master's in business administration from the University of Dayton and a doctorate in economics from OSU. He also has taught courses at Capital University, OSU and the Pontifical College Josephinum – a Roman Catholic seminary school just north of Columbus.
