As COO, Dale oversees BWC's Medical Services, IT, Employer Services, Field Operations and Safety & Hygiene divisions.

He is a seasoned industry veteran with more than 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors. His experience covers virtually every aspect of the industry, including health, life, health maintenance organization (HMO), managed care organization (MCO) and workers’ compensation insurance.

This is Dale’s second go-round at BWC. In the late '90s, he was assistant director of BWC's consulting and audit department. He also managed the $50 million project plan for the Health Partnership Program.

Most recently, Dale held various executive positions at Nationwide Insurance, where he’s been since 1999. These include roles as director of sales operations for Titan Insurance, senior consultant for the company’s Property Casualty Division and other senior positions with Gates McDonald.

Along with being COO of Anthem Comp, a workers’ comp third-party administrator, Dale served as deputy director of the Life, Health and HMO Division of the Ohio Department of Insurance. Before that, he worked at Blue Cross.

Dale lives in Upper Arlington with his wife of 29 years. They have two grown children.
