Provider fee schedule available for review
Comments, feedback due by Aug. 15
After a comprehensive review of our professional fee schedule, BWC decided it
was time for an update. Now, we want to hear from you.
Submit your comments during a stakeholder meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. July 22, in the
William Green Building auditorium, 30 W. Spring St., Columbus. We'll answer questions,
discuss the impacts of the proposed fee schedule changes and listen
to public comments. Each speaker will have three minutes to comment.

We have not updated the fee schedule since 2004, so we have recommended a complete update,
including all CPT (Current Procedure Terminology) and HCPCS (Health Care Procedural Coding
System) codes. Our revisions take into account industry best practices and inflation since
the last update.
Any revisions must go through the Ohio rule-making process. We will submit the fee schedule
proposal to the BWC Board of Directors for approval on Aug. 29. If the board approves the
new fee schedule at the August meeting, November 2008 is the earliest the new schedule
would take effect.
