The FlexPay Plan is an online program designed to allow private employers to report their payroll and pre-pay their premiums online with discounts provided for early payment. Employers are able to make payments when it is best for their business and cash flow. Private state-fund employers in active status are eligible to participate in FlexPay regardless of participation in alternative rating/discount programs. For employers participating in the Individual- retrospective rating plan, the early payment discount will only be applicable to the minimum premium.

Discounts will be incremental and will decline based upon the payment date. The earlier payment is made the larger the discount. Discount rates may fluctuate by payroll period and will be taken from the Bureau's most recent actuarial audit. The early payment discount will be applied to the total blended premium paid by the employer after all other discounts, dividends, etc.
