Group Rating Introduction
This rating plan allows employers in substantially similar industries to group
together to potentially achieve lower premium rates than they could otherwise
achieve as individual employers.
BWC makes sure employers meet the criteria for group rating but does not decide
which employers can participate in group rating. Group-plan sponsors, such as
trade associations, form groups and decide who participates.
