MCO Selection Form

Introduction
One of the key players in BWC’s Health Partnership Program (HPP) is the managed care organization (MCO). MCOs partner with employers to ensure claims are filed quickly, treatment for injured workers' begins promptly and recovery programs are implemented to safely and quickly return injured employees to work.

BWC offers the MCO Selection Guide and MCO Report Card to help employers with the selection process. The guide provides instructions on selecting an MCO. The report card indicates how well MCOs are succeeding at returning injured workers to work within established standards and other medical management goals.

Some MCOs may be placed at capacity, which means they are unable to accept additional employers. Also, not all MCOs are certified in every county. A BWC representative will contact you for another choice if the MCO you've chosen is unavailable for selection.
