Lost-time Claim

If you are off work for eight or more days due to your allowed injury or occupational disease, BWC considers your claim a lost-time claim.

If you miss 14 consecutive days or more due to your allowed condition(s), BWC will compensate you for the entire period of disability from the date of your injury/occupational disease as well as pay medical expenses.
