What is my claim status?
You will be able to follow the status of your claim.
The claims status screen will enable you to track
the progress of your claim during the various
phases of the life of the claim.
Sometimes the CSS is not able to complete the investigation
or determination of the claim because they have not received
requested information necessary to complete a current process.
As you review the status of your claim, you may see that the
CSS is waiting for a medical report or wage information.
You may be able to help the CSS by contacting your doctor
or employer and obtain the information for the CSS.
BWC classifies claims according to two criteria,
the claim status and the ICD-9 injury code.
