If your pharmacist fills your prescription before BWC allows
your claim or before you receive a claim number, you may have to pay for the
prescription.
Be sure to tell your pharmacist that
the medication is for a workers’ compensation claim.
When your claim is allowed, you will be reimbursed
according to BWC's approved fee schedule.
If your claim is allowed, you will receive your
prescriptions for your work-related injury without
any up-front cost to you.
