Provider rights and responsibilities

Providers may not advise injured workers to file a Motion (C-86) or complete a C-86 on their behalf to request an additional condition. By law, providers are not parties to the claim; therefore, they cannot appeal decisions regarding additional allowances to the MCO, BWC or the Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC). Only injured workers, employers or their authorized representatives may initiate appeals.
