Proactive allowance decision time frames

Between five and 28 days from receiving the recommendation, BWC will either allow the condition or notify injured workers or their legal representatives to request the condition in writing. BWC also will provide an update to the physician who recommended the additional allowance and the appropriate managed care organization (MCO).
