International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9) codes

The International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) codes are three- to five-digit numeric codes that represent a uniform, international classification system for coding diseases and injury diagnoses. The system is based on the official version of the World Health Organization’s (WHO's) 9th Revised, International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9). BWC recognizes the current version of the ICD-9-CM.
