4123.55 NO COMPENSATION FOR FIRST WEEK AFTER INJURY
No compensation shall be allowed for the first week after an injury is received or
occupational disease contracted and no compensation shall be allowed for the first
week of total disability, whenever it may occur, unless and until the employee is
totally disabled for a continuous period of two weeks or more, in which event
compensation for the first week of total disability, whenever it has occurred, shall
be paid, in addition to any other weekly benefits which are due, immediately following
the second week of total disability. There shall be no waiting period in connection
with the disbursements provided by section 4123.66 of the Revised Code
