Claim management reports

Claim management reports provide claims data, at either a detail or summary level, and claims costs so you can better manage all the claims associated with your policy number. You’ll find more information about each of three reports below.

Claim costs
Claim costs allows BWC personnel, Ohio employers and third party administrators to view individual claim costs information to help better manage workers’ compensation claims. Claim numbers listed include all claims associated with an individual policy as a result of combination, transfer or merger of accounts. This report is downloadable as a comma separated value file.

Detail claim data
Detail claim data allows BWC personnel and Ohio employers to view individual claim information to help better manage workers’ compensation claims. Claim numbers listed include all claims associated with an individual policy as a result of combination, transfer or merger of accounts. This report is downloadable as a comma separated value file.

To take advantage of the most complete claims information available to you, we recommend that you also download its companion report, Claim costs. This report provides additional cost and reserve data relevant to your claims.

Summary claim data
Summary claim data allows BWC personnel and Ohio employers to view high level claim information to help better manage workers’ compensation claims. Information includes all claims associated with an individual policy as a result of combination, transfer or merger of accounts.
