Safety and hygiene services

Work place safety is a BWC priority. The Division of Safety & Hygiene works to help employers prevent work place injuries.

A work-related injury has a far-reaching impact. Everyone loses when someone gets hurt on the job.

The injured worker suffers physically, emotionally and financially. Co-workers feel the impact, which can lower employee morale. You lose the productivity of an employee and risk a premium increase. Employers in similar industries also could see an increase in workers' compensation costs.

The Division of Safety & Hygiene offers a variety of programs and services to prevent accidents and reduce workers' compensation costs. These services are available to you at no additional cost.
